Alagu Jothi Academy celebrated the festival of Gokulastami with great zeal and pomp by our tiny tots on account of Lord Krishna birthday, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. The students dressed up as lord Krishna and Radha, with flutes & peacock feathers and entered our school premises with great joy and enthusiasm. Around 100 students participated in the event where it was decorated beautifully with the spirit of festivity.
The Slogan of Bhagavad Gita ("Song of God") which is the essence of the knowledge, action, and love was recited by the students followed by explanation. Krishna Leela song was sung by one of our tiny tots. The celebration which was truly entertaining and educating was concluded with sweets distribution.
